Dedicated to Raising Awareness and Funds for Equines in Need

We are the Racing Warriors…some of us have earned hundreds of thousands of dollars, some of us have may not even have earned a few hundreds. While Thoroughbred racehorses average 12 starts during their racing career, the Racing Warriors have raced at least 50 times, many upwards of 100 or more times. Some of us have been able to transition and be adopted, but many of us have been forgotten now that we are no longer racing.

Like a fine wine, The Exceller Fund believes we are not old – we are vintage! – are we are especially deserving of rehabilitation and retraining, or retirement.

We invite you to bid on some of these “vintage” racing themed items to support The Exceller Fund Racing Warriors. All funds help us receive the soft landing we all deserve. The auction runs from September 11th until September 20th, 10:00 PM CST.

The Exceller Fund acquires Thoroughbred horses that might be at risk for slaughter and works to provide a future beyond the finish line once they have completed their racing careers.   In addition to transitioning potential adoptable horses into second careers, sanctuary is provided for those horses in need of retirement.    The Exceller Fund also works to facilitate the placement of Thoroughbreds with other equine organizations nationwide in order to save as many Thoroughbreds as possible.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. We are hoping to not have to deplete our Emergency Fund in order to get good hay. We could buy a lesser quality and a little bit lower price, but it usually means having to feed more which means the horses go through it more quickly.

Thank you for your support!
