2025 Bright Futures Farm Racing Memorabilia Auction

Join Us for our New Fundraiser!
WHEN: March 29th - April 5th, 2025
An Auction of Thoroughbred Racing Memorabilia to Support the Residents of Bright Futures Farm
Since 2000, the mission of Bright Futures Farm has been to save horses from abuse, abandonment, and slaughter. Once a horse is rescued, they provide medical care, rehabilitation and schooling and then adopt many of them into loving, forever homes. Their rescue also provides a permanent sanctuary to elderly and disabled horses that have been callously discarded because they are too old, too sick, or unwanted. They provide care and professional training to Thoroughbred ex-racehorses ensuring a solid foundation prior to placement into approved homes, placement assistance for retired broodmares and stallions at risk of auction/slaughter, permanent sanctuary for those Thoroughbreds that are either disabled or require extensive care in their senior years, and educational services to the community.

Fundraiser Updates:
How to Donate Items for Our Auctions
All of the items in our auctions have been donated by wonderful people just like you, so look around your home and donate new and gently used items to help horses in need! The items don’t have to be horse-related and their value is tax deductible. Use the form on our Contact page if you have any questions.
A few specifics:
- We are able to include items that are received up to three days before an auction begins, or we can reserve those items for an upcoming auction or fundraiser.
- If you want to support a specific rescue group, you can donate items to be used for only that group's auctions or fundraisers.
- If you are an artist or crafter and want to donate something you've created, you will be promoted on the Special Horses website, our social media pages, and any participating rescue group's social media pages.
Two ways to donate:
- You can send the item(s) to Special Horses, 4376 Maryland Ave., A7, St. Louis MO 63108. Keep your postage payment receipt, as that counts as part of your tax-deductible donation.
- You can email information about the items (new or used, dimensions, color, material, value and starting bid, estimated shipping cost, etc.) and include two or three photos. We will include the items in our auction (or fundraiser) and when they are won, you will be responsible for packing and shipping the item to the winning bidder, and Special Horses will reimburse you for your shipping costs.
